Freelance UI Designs
Below are a few of my favorite freelance UI design projects I worked on over the years. Many were short term projects but still very insightful intros into different industries for me. If you’d like to learn more about these projects, feel free to reach out!
Blaxit:
These designs were for a travel app for Black people to socialize and make friends when travelling or moving to different countries.
This was a short project where I worked with the creator to brainstorm and explore ideas for the login and onboarding process of this app using their logo and branding. The goal was to take the onboarding process from over 10 screens to only those that were essential while still keeping the necessary information.
Recurr:
Recurr is a financial management app to help track payments and income, usually recurring payments and income, such as rent and monthly subscriptions.
During this project where I worked with the existing logo and branding to develop the main screens for the app interface and processes. The main goal was to develop a simple interface that shows the process of requesting/setting up payments, viewing account history, and other information.
Dotted:
Ever had bad customer service at a restaurant you thought you’d love? Dotted is an app that allows you to “dot” or leave reviews of places for others to learn about your experience and quality of service of an establishment. The dots are color coded based on the type of “dot” and can be viewed on a map if a user is in a specific area looking for nearby places to visit.
This project was focused on establishing an overall look for the app and designing the interactions within the process of leaving dots and viewing those left by the user and others.

Hayti:
These designs were for an African news app for to find out about current events, the latest news, articles, and more related to the continent.
In this project, we focused on discovering the optimal layout of the page to showcase the articles and imagery and the best design of the sections tabs within the app to attract user’s attention without crowding the space.

Recovapro
This design was for a company that sells exercise and fitness products such as muscle massagers, medicine balls, and other exercise equipment while also having a blog with fitness and outdoor lifestyle content.
In this project, I designed their mobile landing page using lifestyle and product photos and article information. From the provided images and guidelines, I chose imagery that best showed off the products and fit the overall aesthetic of a fitness brand.
